This is a subject very near and dear to me, I had my youngest daughter in my 40′s after my master attunement. She seemed very distressed after the birth and as an infant, it took me 3 months to figure out that she needed an attunement. (this was 15 years ago so there was not really much of a support community) I did her 1st at 2months and her 2nd at 3 months… (she is now 15 and wanting me to do her master, yes I am holding off till she is a bit older)
I started teaching her as a toddler about the fireflies in her hands that would take the “owies” to the grandmother. The hardest thing I had teaching her was that she could not keep the owies. I had to develop a who new vocabulary for reiki and energy work since she was so little. As the mother of 6, the biggest thing that I noticed about her behavior was the calm she had as a toddler. I never seemed to have to teach her compassion and such it was just there. We have had some close calls with the shrinks at school understanding her frame of unconditional love and state of no fear, which o them was abnormal.
She became a Lakota fire-keeper at 7 , and now at 15 I am still amazed at her state of no fear which i really believe was a result of her Reiki attnements.

My nephew is a very sweet boy, early connect with spiritual subjects. Once, when he was 7 year old, he was feeling a strong headache and I’ve asked to his mother (my sister) if I could apply Reiki. With her agreement, I’ did that, asking him if he’d like my help. It was a very simple and nice moment, because he stayed very quiet and he got totally well in a few minutes. Since this day, sometimes he asks me to do “that magic thing with the hands”.
His reaction was very spontaneous and I’ve transmitted him some Reiki principles in a simple language. He asked me to learn Reiki, but my sister think he is still very young to understand. I don’t think so, but I’ve to respect her decision. I’ve told to my nephew I will back to this subject in the early future… So, we will have a very nice boy practicing Reiki from the heart.
