I wanted to share my enthusiasm and healing benefits of Reiki with my own children, so I began to look for information geared specifically towards children regarding Reiki. No matter where I looked, I came up empty handed. Informative sources were very few and far between and no one seemed to have anything worthwhile to contribute.

As a writer and editor of several publications, I began making notes, organizing them into a format and suddenly the conception of a Children’s Reiki class manual had taken place.

A few months later, this book was born. This book was originally designed as a “class manual” which I had intended to offer along with Reiki Level One and Two Attunements and Certificates for children. I later decided that all of this wonderful information would serve more standing on it’s own and being available to a broader audience, hence the birth of the book.
